In The Ear...A.I. LoveYou....Sincerely Yours

They call it Electro-Hop (I think). I like to call it Innovative Tight Music!  We first heard about these guys from the homie Mark & LeMont! (Sky Republic Whadup!) Now these are two homies that I definitely trust their ear of judgement when it comes to music! Cant trust many ears nowdays! So the homie Mark emailed me a few tracks, and after the 1st listen, I was feelin A.I. LoveYou! Really! Not your typical "I'm a Gangsta, I Got Money, I Got Rims" rap. 

Favorite Tracks: Bumble Bee, Ride, L.A.M.S, and how can I forget them getting on the Sounds of Blackness track titled "Be Optimistic"! 

Were looking forward to hearing more from these brothers from here on out! Dont be silly folks download their mixtape. Its a DEFINITELY NEED FOR THE ITUNES  IPOD!

Morning World! So I got put onto to mobile blogging the other day, and I just want to test it out!

On the quest to change, and become a better Reggie Black a lot of things are being done differently, and being put in place. Got an email the other day from my homie Tab speaking some serious stuff that happens to be essential for ultimate Success!!! The few lines he referenced came out of a book titled "The Richest Man in Babylon"

Had to pick it up! Just started reading it! Its great, and puts so many things in perspective!

I will be sure to drop my review of the book once I'm done!

BLACK Collection Says Kudos To.....

So During the course of my day, the homie Tab hit me up and asked if we could get together to have a quick shoot! He wanted to shoot a product for Bonney Runway! 

No doubt! The homie always looks out for the BC fam so why not! 

He had already schedule to link up with Kia Chenelle! We all caught up and made it happen! Peep the pics behind the scenes!

This guy has built a multi-million dollar company with drive, determination, and self-belief. He had alot of great advice, and insight about business! 

He was definitely down to Earth, stayed and took pictures with everybody, signed autographs, and just chilled out with the audience! We definitely learned alot!

Excerpt from BC interview:

What made you realize that you wanted to start your own company? How old were you? Well ever since I used to work in SOLO, I couldn’t wait to start the line. I actually decided to start the line on a bus ride during my study abroad experience in South Africa. I was on the bus writing ideas, and I just told myself when I get back to the States, I was going to begin the groundwork for starting the line. I was about 21 years old.

So you decided to start the BLACK Collection. What were your first three steps?
The first three steps were getting all the legal, and tax documents in order that was first. The second step was getting advice from some great friends of mine that had already had clothing lines similar to what I wanted to do. (Shout out to Tabi Bonney). Just so I would at least have an idea of what to expect. The last step was to just get to work.

Hello, Karmin Here!

Hi everyone! I'm Karmin, and as you can tell, this is my first post ever on the Black Collection Blogspot!
I've been very busy working a 9-5, getting myself situated, and welcoming new opportunities that have come my direction.
So, it's about 11:45 pm now, and my back is killing me because I've been sitting in this same seat posting on various sites (twitter especially), and enjoying the last taco I bought from Chipotle earlier. I hate when I wanna heat up my burrito, but it tastes funny when the lettuce and tomato gets warm (yuck!).
Then, I spoke to Reggie earlier who said he was on his way to the West Coast, and I must say, I'm extremely jealous and hopes he has a severe case of jet lag (JK lol). And Reggie, if you read this anytime soon, MAKE SURE you get a "Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles" doggy bag and somehow sneak it through the airport back home!

This singing duo is pretty freakin' rad if I must say! CHESTER FRENCH, two Harvard grads that decided that there degree from the prestigious university wasn't there way to a great living. Music was the love of D.A Wallach and Max Drummey. Inspired by both hip-hop and 1960s pop music, they began making music together there freshman year of college. Harboring a sound similar to the Beatles, the group recently signed to STAR TRAK/INTERSCOP. Chester French is definitely headed to the top of the charts. Check out more on the talented duo here!!!
